Playa del sol is an ecofriendly beach.

The beach establishment was built giving first priority to environmentally friendly criteria, for example the wood used to manufacture the whole structure comes from reforestation areas, the floor is made of slats of composite material in which the wooden components have recycled content and which replaced the more impacting concrete slabs.

Solar panels were implanted to heat the water of the showers and pools thus cutting down on the utilization of fossile energy, which is however compensated through the purchase of Gold Standard green certificates.

An estimated 100% of our electric energy supply comes from renewable resources. Please have a look to our certificates.

For Playa del Sol water conservation and affordability is a matter of big concern. Water coming from showers is completely recycled and reused to irrigate the green and for wc flush.

In the framework of a modern waste menagement, Playa del Sol installed refuse collection containers on its surface: thanks to the recycling of materials such as paper, glass, aluminuim and glass we ware able to achieve up to a 75% reduction of the quantity of undifferentiated waste.

We also try to bring matters of eco sustainability to the new generation: arts and crafts activities with recycled materials (cans, tins, bottles, flacons, newaspaper, magazine, packaging in general) organized in our babyclub help kids to create a fun while learning to care about the environment and nature.
